Uptake of long-acting reversible contraceptives has been low among many women in Kenya. This seen a surge the number unplanned pregnancies, which leads to continued poverty due large sizes families. study therefore sought establish socio-cultural factors influencing uptake reproductive age The adopted descriptive cross sectional design. was conducted public hospitals target population included between 18 and 45 years. A sampling formula used identify appropriate sample for respondents. 379 respondents identified were picked through simple random sampling. data collected using an interviewer-administered questionnaire. analysed statistics SPSS version 26. findings revealed that such as religious believe affected long lasting concluded misconceived social cultural believes, family planning methods/long-acting minimal recommended need government, other stakeholders create awareness education on methods women.
